| 12142 | 2001-05-04 03:21:00 | Q1 Updating from IE4 to IE5 or IE5.5 - what is the least buggy, most-sorted version? What about the ones on say PCWorld's Jan or Feb CD's?? Q2 - Do I need to uninstall IE4? If so how? or can IE 5x load over it?? I'm on Win 98 SP2 Thanks |

| 12145 | 2001-05-04 03:53:00 | I have been using IE 6 (beta) for over a month and have not had a single solitary problem. Certainly I can make suggestions as to how it can be improved (to suit me),but that is not the fault of the makers. Jack |

| 12146 | 2001-05-05 07:37:00 | I upgraded to IE 5.5 from the Internet mag CD. I didn't like it so I tried to uninstall which it refused to do so fully and trashed my computer's configeration instead. I had to have the hard drive completely reformatted to clean the mess up. Advise to upgrade from the Microsoft site only not from the magazines CD. | Guest (0) | ||
