12099 2001-05-03 00:50:00 I tried to open a file containing a picture, when i clicked on it, a box appered asking which programme i wanted to open the file with.
It had numerous descriptions so i picked a common one. (can't remember which one now). but it wouldn't or couldn't open it, so i thought the file was usless and deleted it. Now when i'm on internet the pictures are missing on the pages, in their place is a small box with a triangle, circle and square inside.
How on earth do i get that deleted programme back, or is there a download i can go to get it back.
thanks.

12100 2001-05-04 03:50:00 I'd re-install the web broswer. Guest (0)
12101 2001-05-05 14:13:00 ...try this:

In Internet Explorer go: Tools > Options > Advanced tab. Scroll down to Multi-Media and check (enable) the 'Show Pictures' box. Press Apply/Okay.
