| 12277 | 2001-05-07 08:53:00 | My floppy drive will only read and write to the smaller 720kb floppies. I replaced the drive, checked the cable and bios settings which are okay. Keep getting Drive A not formatted warning but would not format disk when tried. Any ideas?? Running Win 95 version b |

I cured it by resetting the BIOS using the clear CMOS jumper on the motherboard. If this doesn't work, try reinstalling Windows to get around any rescource conflicts. |

| 12279 | 2001-05-08 03:39:00 | How do I reset the BIOS using the clear CMOS jumper on the motherboard? I've tried re-installing Windows 98 but still have the problem of not being able to read floppy disks. Thanks. |
