| 12204 | 2001-05-05 21:42:00 | I just recently bought a Epson 640U scanner. I've been using the default low resolution for a while now and am starting to experiment with TWAIN. What is TWAIN? I scan a small item with TWAIN at a high resolution and it comes out huge on my PC screen, is it supposed to do this? Is this the actual size that it scanned on the PC screen or is it just magnified? | Guest (0) | ||

There is a difference between what you see on the screen and what you get when you print. Rather than explain here, have a look at this site which explains nearly all, and also has a useful greyscale that you can test your monitor settings with. http://www.scantips.com/ Have fun. |
