| 12206 | 2001-05-05 08:27:00 | I seem to have lost my association to Outlook Express for automatically opening a new message window when clicking on a Mailto: link on a web page. Can anyone tell me where the path to the executable file for this function is so I can reassign it. I am running Windows 98 & IE 5.5. | Guest (0) | ||

Open My Computer, select View, Options, File types, scroll down the list until you find URL:MailTo Protocol. Edit the file type and select open under the actions list. In the box labelled 'Application used to perform this action', enter the new path and application. i.e. 'c:\program files\microsoft office\outlook' '%1' Select ok to save the changes. | Guest (0) | ||
