12406 2001-05-10 07:07:00 We use Pegasus email, which we like. we have a PC each but only one internet connection (on both PCs). We have a mailbox each but they are both on the same user id. We are able to send email successfully on both, and when email is sent to the second address it doesn't bounce back to the sender, so presumably it is being recieved by the mailbox. BUT, we can't access it on Pegasus - we can't get at the email in the second mailbox. Any ideas? Guest (0)
12407 2001-05-12 20:53:00 Since you are using one email account - user ID - your ISP mailbox will have no way of knowing which computer is in use and will download the mail to the first of the two PCs to log-on. I suspect that the only way you can avoid this is to have two separate accounts. But why don't you talk with your ISP help? Guest (0)
12408 2001-05-15 11:44:00 have you tried setting up a second identity in pegasus?
you will need a different user name for the second account (ask your isp)
tools/identities/add type in say '2nd account'
tools/extensions/multipop/add modify to show your second acct user name
select 2nd account from the drop down window (probably says 'default' at present)
file/network configuration modify to suit your second account.
you can now switch between two indentities using the drop down window but note you must connect to your isp using your default account intially then you can switch identities once connected.
