| 12311 | 2001-05-08 02:35:00 | Fatal Exception @ 0028:C0035B34 in VXD IFSMGR(01) + 00002170 The initial screen pops up and after a bit of thinking the error occurs and control is lost when I continue, so manual reset is required. What is doing this??? It used to work but I think that just after updating to DirectX8 this started to happen. What can I do to fix it, reinstall windows? Setup : PIII500, G200 Matrox Marvel graphics card, Win98, plenty of RAM(128MG) Any help appreciated as this has been long going... thanks. |

If so, disabling that function [IE5x go - tools > options > security tab > internet zone > custom level > uncheck]is a quick work-around to suspend the annoyance. However, that will *not* correct the underlying fault. Maybe you could try an upgrade to build 8.0a at the Microsft Site (?). It will be no consolation to learn that many users have difficulty with some of the DirectX builds. Tell me about it! |
