| 12295 | 2001-05-07 12:50:00 | I have a Mustek 600CU Scanner with a USB interface running on Win2k SP1. It works fine under the Administrator account, but not at all under any of the user accounts. I have the latest drivers from Mustek. The scanner shows up in the Scanners and Cameras Control Panel utility, and the properties box has it listed as on port \\.\Usbscan0 and the Status is listed as Unavailable (under the user accounts). I have tried installing the drivers under the logins, but that does not solve the problem. Thank in advance for any help Jerome |

OK back to the Main MMC window. Highlight the snap-in Right click, and click 'Open database' Make a new database, you will then be prompted to import a template. Browse to Winnt\security\templates and open the compatws.inf template. You will then be returned to the man MMC screen. Right click the snap-in, and click 'configure the computer'. The 'Compatible Workstation' template settings will then be applied. Log out and back in, try your scanner! |
