| 12493 | 2001-05-12 07:31:00 | hey... i was just wondering what type of cpu the one that sticks out the side of your motherboard is? not the one that lies flat, like what socket or what ever you call it, because i want to upgrade my cpu but dont know what to look for. Thanks | Guest (0) | ||

You'll be pretty hard pressed to find a new slot cpu faster than what you have now. You'd have to use what they call a slocket card, which lets you use a socket style cpu on a slot based motherboard. I think that best thing you could do is take you system in to a well known local computer store and ask them. |
