| 12483 | 2001-05-12 03:25:00 | I have been trying to find advice on the problem of Scanning Win ME's System Restore folder with Norton Antivrus, as mentioned in PC World Mar 01, pg 24. I tried to follow the instructions in the magazine about selecting the version of NAV, then clicking Go and at the next page typing in 'System Restore' in the search field. However there was no such search field there. I tried the main search page without any luck and endless following of links didn't seem to get any where. I also tried the Microsoft address that the magazine also gave and got a 'Page Cannot be Displayed' message. I finally found the link I wanted after posting a free worded question at the Knowledge Base. however much to my dismay, the page could not be displayed. Can any one please help me here? |

On the page that appears select knowledge base at the bottom of the page, then do a search for system restore. |
