| 12426 | 2001-05-10 09:55:00 | I am on a steep learning curve and keep falling off. PROBLEM: I have tried changing my CPU from a Cyrix PR200 MMX to an AMD K6-2 300. Immediately on starting I get the error message on the monitor: 'NO INPUT, check connectors or computer.' I have a P12+ motherboard (Octek Rhino 12+). I have set jumpers according to the book: JP1's to 2.2 core volts, JBF's to 1-2 1-2 1-2 (which I assume is x4.5) and left the front bus speed at 66MHz. I have a Virge S3 for 2D and a VoodooII for 3D. The P12+ m/b manual tells me it is compatible with K6's. The Voodoo II says the same. The BIOS is Award v 4.51PG. Can you offer any advice please, cause I am fresh out of ideas. Thanks. |
