| 12461 | 2001-05-11 09:50:00 | I am thinking about buying a New Epson Inkjet Printer, I have heard that they are very good printers but that if they break down they are not repairable. Is this true? Or could it be that there are no service agents my my area (Christchurch) and the salesman is trying to save me extra hassle if my new Epson breaks down? | Guest (0) | ||

Perhaps your dealer wasn't prepared to handle any repairs or was trying to sell you something more expensive. Yes, there is an Epson Service Center in Christchurch, 'Video & Computer Specialists Ltd, Blenheim Rd'. Unfortunately I can't tell you if they are any good, as I haven't had to use them yet. Hope this helps. Bob. :>) |

The situation with Epson printers is that the printhead is a part of the printer instead of the cartridge as with other printers. So if you have a printhead problem you'll have a big bill to look forward to. As I've said, no problems here. | Guest (0) | ||
