12679 2001-05-16 00:24:00 I am currently experiencing problems with my new TNT 2 M64 PCI card. I get lots of monitor flickering when i try to change the on screen resolution or open a game. After which my M50 monitor turns itself off. Please help me with this problem. Guest (0)
12680 2001-05-16 01:55:00 Try downloading and installing the latest video driver for your TNT card.

You will need to know the manufacturer of the card(Nvidia for instance).

The driver that came with card or the one supplied by the operating system do not always work properly.

Try windrivers.com.

12681 2001-05-16 12:58:00 This problem could be due to several things. But it sounds like your monitor is not capable of supporting the video card properly.

Try:

a. Installing drivers specific to you monitor.

b. Reducing the Video Adaptor refresh rate.

c. Reducing the computer's Screen Area.

d. Reducing the colour depth to High Colour (16 bit).

Options a and b should help if the refresh rates are outside the moitor's display range. Options c and d will help reduce the work load on your video card and CPU.
