| 12646 | 2001-05-15 04:44:00 | A workmate is having problems sending PowerPoint files to his home system. The email is getting there alright but when he tries to open the attachment from within the email he gets the message *.ppt is not a valid win32 application (* being the file name) There is nothing wrong with attachment as he can save it to disk and then accessing it by starting PowerPoint and then using File/Open. He does not have the same problem when he sends Word or Excel files home and has the same PowerPoint version at home and work. I am thinking OLX is not recognising the attachment extension? Any thoughts/solutions much appreciated |
