| 12628 | 2001-05-14 10:55:00 | Just curious. I am using Windows 2000 with an external modem. When I connect to the Internet, the connection icon in the sys tray sometimes displays 115.2k and sometimes 44k or 48k. Why the difference? | Guest (0) | ||
| 12629 | 2001-05-14 21:16:00 | It's driver related. In the 115K instance the modem is getting a response that's not covered in the driver info so it's defaulting to displaying the port speed. See if there's an updated driver available. | Guest (0) | ||
