12593 2001-05-14 03:33:00 I'm finding that a web page that I ftp to a US based server is continually turning up with a front page that is two or three weeks old. The counter doesn't update or anything~ when I dial out with zfree. Another friend checked the site with a zfree dial up... same problem. I checked the page with Jetstream no problem. Why is this happening? Guest (0)

I would guess that you are viewing a copy that has been cached by your ISP.

First empty your cache, your browser will have the option depending on which browser you are using, then press the reload button on your browser to load a new copy.

You can also bypass your ISP proxy by changing your proxy settings to direct connection, this will force your browser to load a new copy instead of the one held by your ISP.
