I'm wondering if anyone knows of software that allows you to use the Telecom call-waiting service so that important calls are not missed if you are surfing the net. I know of one software product that is available in the USA, but have no idea if it would work in NZ. This displays a popup when u have an incoming call, giving you three choices: 1) Ignore the call, continue surfing. 2) Take the call. If you take a quick message of less than 30secs, you can use the equivalent of the re-flash button and continue surfing. If you carry on talking you will lose your dialup connection. Anyone heard of something like this, or know if there are any relevant differences in telecomms networks between here and the US? Thanks in advance tU |
