| 12763 | 2001-05-17 09:52:00 | I am having problems playing all games.The game start up is fine but when it comes to the actual game play the computer will freeze/lock up.I have tried installing the lastest drivers for my video card and have also installed directx 8.I have also tried my video card in a mates computer and it works fine.I have a Nvidia Riva TNT 2 video card and an intel 440bx motherboard.Please help! | Guest (0) | ||

| 12765 | 2001-05-18 03:15:00 | Hi, Just to be sure on Gfx driver, the best set of drivers for a TNT, TNT2 or basically any nVidia chipset, are the Detonator 6.18 from www.nvidia.com. You might want to try going back to DirectX 7, and see if that is better. I had a bad time with games when my Network Card was conflicting the sound and problem fixed by moveing it to another PCI slot. Do you have a Network Card?
