| 12778 | 2001-05-17 23:50:00 | PC World rates speed of computers using PC WorldBench 2000. Speed of current computers is around 130-230. Does anyone know what the comparative speed of a three year old PII 266 (128MB ram) is likely to be? Or look at it another way, if I upgrade from a PII 266 128MB to an Atholon 1200 256MB, what increase in speed could I expect for a processor intensive application (ie one with minimal disk access). Thanks. |
