| 12911 | 2001-05-20 21:20:00 | I think that my sound and graphics cards are on my motherboard...but I cannot change the settings for my graphics. It won't change from 16 colors and the graphics are big and won't let me change to a smaller size. I have windows me everything else seems to be working ok. TIA |

To do this go to the control panel/System/Device Listing and look under Display Adaptor. If you have onboard graphics, the drivers will be on your motherboard disk. Your motherboard manual or a help file on the CD will tell you about the drivers and how to load them. P.S. I wouldn't set the colour any higher than 16 bit high colour unless you have a pretty powerful computer. Higher settings will significantly increase the workload of your CPU. You will not see much of an improvement in the display, but will notice decrease in performance. |
