12865 2001-05-20 05:02:00 Hi there. I have tried to install my hollywood + decoder card and am having some problems. Actually, the card installs fine but when i try to install DVD station that i have problems. As i install, a 'severe' message comes up saying 'an instant of the driver may already be in use'. After installation is finished, DVD station wont work. This all ran fine under Windows ME, and also was fine up until the other day in Windows 2000. Why it doesnt work now is strange. I have installed the card in different PCI slots, uninstalled and reinstalled all the drivers and software, and have the windows 2000 drivers etc from the sigma web site. Does anyone have any ideas as to what may be wrong. I have run WinDVD and that works ok, but obviously doenst take into affect my hardware card. Are there any other players that will work with the Hollywood + card? Thanks for any help. Guest (0)
