12856	2001-05-19 13:43:00	...Sony's commercially available Memory Stick media are pre-formatted and ready to use. Simply follow the procedure below to re-format Memory Stick media: (i) Insert the Memory Stick media into the Memory Stick media slot on the CLIE handheld. (ii) Tap the 'MS Gate' icon to start the program. (iii) Tap the word 'MS Gate' in the top-left corner. (iv) Tap 'Options' and then tap 'Format.' (v) At the 'Confirmation' screen, tap OK to continue. IMPORTANT NOTES: (i) When you format Memory Stick media all data contained on it will be deleted. Take care that you do not delete important data. (ii) Only use a Sony CLIE handheld to format Memory Stick media that is to be used with a Sony handheld. Using a computer to format Memory Stick media that is to be used with a Sony handheld may result in data which cannot be accessed. (iii) If you withdraw the Memory Stick media during a format, the Memory Stick media will be unable to recognize data. In this case, withdraw the Memory Stick and then re-insert it and execute the format again CREDIT: Sony.com	Guest (0)
