| 13190 | 2001-05-26 05:55:00 | If I alter the autoexec.bat file in Windows ME it is automatically restored to its original form at the next boot up. This is obviously a safety feature but there must be a work-around? | Guest (0) | ||
| 13191 | 2001-05-26 18:15:00 | How about renaming the autoexec.bak (or equivilent) after editing the autoexec.bat so that Windows doesn't have any reference file to restore from. Never tried it myself, so I'd be interested to see how you get on. |
