13130 2001-05-25 08:38:00 try microsoft.com
or cnet.com (they have good comparisons)
By the way...Office 2000 is way better, but if you are going to upgrade, wait for XP, just around the corner..May 31st release date. i have seen the prerelease and it appears very good..AND STABLE!!!

13131 2001-05-25 11:36:00 You can get comparisons by reading magazine articles about them around the times of release of them.
Be warned though, if you are interested in Office XP, which you can get for the shipping fee if you purchase Office 2000 before a certain date (June 30th I think), Office XP is part of Microsofts .NET initiative, and you have to pay a subscription fee.

13132 2001-05-26 00:29:00 When purchasing Office XP there will be a subscription option (this will be a lower purchase price but will include free upgrades for the duration of the product) or a non subscription option where you will own the software indefinitely (this will have a much higher price tag). The option which best suits will depend on your needs and how often you upgrade your products. Guest (0)
