Have a new computer with Windows 98 Second Edition and Works 2000 suite which includes Word 2000 My question: Can I install Office 97 as well or will I get a conflict betwen the different versions of Word? Thanks in advancw |

Basically it involves installing the earlier version of Office on a different directory than the later version, and it must be installed afterward. If you install the earlier version first, the later one will simply update it. Experience has shown that success rates for this procedure vary widely. Note: You are legally only entitled to install your copy of Office to one machine at a time (unless your licence agreement specifies otherwise). |
