13219 2001-05-26 09:47:00 I cannot open a pst file as it does not give me the option as to which program to use. I have been into file types - pst files. The pst files open with Outlook and the application used to perform action is 'C\Program\Microsoft Office\Office\OUTLOOK.EXE''%1'
Should I be changing this?
At present the pst files appear with an Outlook icon and appear as an attachment to a message when I try to open them.
Any more suggestions. Thanks so far - I must be getting closer to the soluttion!

13220 2001-05-27 05:43:00 I just save the .pst file as is.
Then to restore it at a later date give the existing .pst file another extention and replace it with the saved one
and open Outlook

13221 2001-05-27 07:42:00 You are best to open the 'pst' using Outlook rather than Explorer. If Outlook wont open it then its probably corrupted, there is a piece of software available which uncorrupts PST's, let me know how you get on.
