| 13412 | 2001-05-30 22:39:00 | Anybody any idea why my speakers (cheap Labtec ones) are making such a terrible noise - it's driving me mad. It's not all the time, but most of the time and it's like loud crackling thunder. I've checked all the connections, but they seem to be ok. Would it be the speakers? The soundcard? | 13413 | 2001-05-31 10:00:00 | ...first off, check your 'Speaker Set-up' settings: Go - Control Panel > Multi Media > Audio tab > click 'Advanced properties' under Playback > Speakers tab on 'Advanced Audio Properties'. Ensure you have the correct (or closest) setting for your speakers. e_ |
