13386 2001-05-30 06:37:00 I am running W98 SE upgrade.

1.
On starting up windows partially loads then the follwing message arrives.

Xdnp32.dll is missing

I have uninstalled 98 and reinstalled numerous times but to no avail.

I have Virus checked with Nortons Anti virus 2000 . OK

How can i re install this file.

Once the message is cleaed windows will continue to load and everything appears normal.

2. The system file check in tools will not load but comes up with a message

Not enough memory to start SCF.exe however there is 831mb free.

3. I also run Adobe Photo Deluxe Home Edition 3.0
However this gives a message saying
Shell32.dll is linked to missing export SHLWAPI.DLL:SHRegGetUSValueA

I have re loaded the program in but once again to no avail

Any ideas anyone has would be great

13387 2001-05-30 12:45:00 The dll file sounds like a bad programme uninstall. Search your registry and see if you can trace it from there. Run/Regedit/Edit/Find/Xdnp32.dll
Don't make any changes without a backup first.
