13365 2001-05-29 11:01:00 When trying to receive mail from my ISP using Outlook Express I keep getting this message:
A secure connection to the server could not be established. Account: 'xtra', Server: 'pop3.xtra.co.nz', Protocol: POP3, Port: 110, Secure(SSL): Yes, Error Number: 0x800CCC1A
Can anyone tell me what this is and how do I fix it? I am using Windows ME, and before I did a complete restore a couple of weeks ago this was one of the few things that were working properly. Up until a few days ago it refused to pick up my mail from Hotmail either, however now it has changed it's mind and is retreiving this mail fine. I would appreciate any help or suggestions.
Thank you in advance.

13366 2001-05-29 13:26:00 This message could be caused by several things. The most likely causes are: The xtra mail server is down, or the connection details for your email account are wrong. After that it gets a bit more difficult. Post another message if you need more help.

P.S. Try both xtra numbers to gain access. They are 087 303030 and 087 303032. In the meantime you can always access your mail through the xtra web page.

13367 2001-05-30 10:48:00 I have had similar problems with outlook express, sometimes working and other times errors. I know the details are correct and it worked ten minutes earlier.

I fixed all Outloook express problems..... I downloaded Eudora 5.1.
