I have a matching problem where I need to identify in a column of transaction amounts, any cell or combination of cells that total an amount of $2881.97. The column contains 52,000 transaction lines which reduces to 14101 unique values for transaction amount. Thus I now only have to find the combinations in the 14101 amounts and link these back to my 52,000 records to identify individual rows that add to the $2881.97. I imagine this will need a Visual basic routine that loops through the rows repetitively comparing and adding cell combinations to look for the match. Is there any software available that does this? |
