| 1274393 | 2012-05-09 23:43:00 | Out of the blue I have all of a sudden found myself unable to open my Hotmail mail. I can get to the Inbox but can’t open the mail. I can’t change folders either. This is using Firefox, all works OK using Internet Explorer. All other Sites work fine with Firefox. Got me whacked, I tried turning off Avast just in case but to no avail. All suggestions appreciated. :) |

| 1274395 | 2012-05-10 01:18:00 | Just tried it on FF12 and it works perfectly. Mind you I dont have a truck load of add-ons, so maybe one of those is playing up with hotmail. Try running FF in its safe mode and see if it works. Help/ Restart with Add-ons disabled. |

| 1274398 | 2012-05-10 07:20:00 | Thanks Guys. Ok, been out all day but now back on the case. Firstly, I’m using FF12. Secondly, it seems to be a problem only between Hotmail and FF. G-Mail works fine as does Clearnet Webmail. I’ve disabled all of the six or so add-on’s I have but still no luck. She’s an odd one this. :confused: |

Yep, a reinstall of FF is an option but the fact that it works perfectly fine on other Web-mails (and everything else) makes me think the problem is with Hotmail. Especially seeing that others are experiencing similar problems. And yes, the OS is XP SP2 and I’ve run CCleaner and cleaned out the Temp files and Cookies. A real odd one. :illogical |
