I can't see why you would want to fix something that is not broken. The present calendar is working very well. I have not heard any complaints. I don't understand why it is a good idea that each year be identical. I think it would be boring. At present someone asks - each year - what date Easter falls. We will have nothing to talk about if it is the same each year. Variety is the spice of life. They also admit that their calendar would not be as accurate. Can't understand why an innacurate calendar would be an improvement. What a load of rubbish. The Gregorian calendar has worked well for over 400 years. I don't see the need to change it now. |

| 1251556 | 2012-01-02 08:39:00 | I propose that they reduce the week to five days so that people can work a three day week and still have a two day weekend. 365 can be divided by 5 giving us a 73 week year. I would get rid of Mondays so that we no longer have people suffering from mondayitis. I would also get rid of Fridays so that we no longer have Friday the thirteenths. :D | Bobh (5192) | ||
