1251526 2012-01-01 03:18:00 Someone here could probably burn it to a disk and send it to you. If you have any other source games installed it takes about 3-4gb off the download/install size. icow (15313)
1251527 2012-01-01 03:56:00 That would be greatly appreciated if someone would be willing to do that GameJunkie (72)
1251528 2012-01-01 04:39:00 I could, I have 150GB of monthly data, of which I only use around 100GB. I have TF2 on my Steam account, will need to install it first I guess. Unless there is a direct download outside steam that you know of, I could just grab it from there? ronyville (10611)
1251529 2012-01-01 05:23:00 i cant find any direct download for it.

torrent ones i would trust, but if you could do that ronyville, i'd be grateful

1251530 2012-01-01 10:26:00 You will find that the actual game file (.gcf) will be more like 4 gigs in size. If someone near you cannot provide with a copy of their GCF file, the best place to get the files online is via Steam, not torrents, in my opinion.

If you have a copied GCF, you start the download via the Steam application, pause it, copy the friend's GCF file in, overwriting the one you started, then continue the download so it updates to the current version and checks the file.

1251531 2012-01-01 10:28:00 thanks GameJunkie (72)
1251532 2012-01-01 11:20:00 GameJunkie, If you have a copied GCF, you start the download via the Steam application, pause it, copy the friend's GCF file in, overwriting the one you started, then continue the download so it updates to the current version and checks the file.

If you still want me to download it for you than i'll just install it under my steam and provide you with a copy of the .gcf file as stated up. Let me know. Can start the download/installation in the morning.
