| 1251373 | 2012-01-02 20:06:00 | Yep, Castle Rock is out of bounds now, as is the Summit Road which used to be great for a "Sunday afternoon" drive. Climbing all over and going under Cave Rock at Sumner was great fun as well but that too is out of bounds these days as great hunks of it has peeled off. Winston's suggestion of Wigram Air Museum is another great activity for kids as is New Brighton pier with a stick and length of line with a baited hook on the end. So Mets, what have you done so far? |

| 1251376 | 2012-01-02 20:53:00 | Yesterday we went to the wild life park, well worth the effort, then went and checked out Lyttelton/Governor bay, followed by a meal at a restaurant that pretended to be Italian. The day before we took the kids to a skate park (it went well, they are covered in grazes and bruises) then to the warehouse so the lad could cash in his xmas voucher, then spent the afternoon and evening at the wife's aunties. Today its Akaroa, onto a cruise, tomorrow Hamner springs. |

| 1251381 | 2012-01-02 22:14:00 | Splash pools at botanic gardens are out again i took my daughter there on sunday and was told the pool has a big crack in it from friday 23rd Dec quakes so yet again chch is down to one pool complex now jelly park, I guess it's survives cause it's made of jelly and wobbles in the quakes and absorbs the shocks lol. | Hitech (9024) | ||
