Yes, it seems some are and some aren’t for some reason????

Are you using FF 12?

I’ve found these links. HERE (answers.microsoft.com) and HERE (answers.microsoft.com) and it seems Microsoft know about the problem and are working on it.

However, their work-around didn’t work for me. :(

Looks like there is not much I can do??

1274405 2012-05-11 02:52:00 I am in the same boat as you B.M, and have tried everything since this problem became apparent with me last week. I am also using FF12. My work around has been to use Google Chrome. smurf (6545)

Actually I was using Chromium at the time, so I guess that doesn't help you. I'll try Firefox and see what happens

Yep, I think we are going to have to leave it to Microsoft to sort out. It seems they've been fiddling with the hotmail security setup.

But just why whatever they've done is not affecting everyone with FF 12 eludes me.

Fortunately, I can still access the mail by changing Browsers to Internet Explorer so all is not lost.

1274409 2012-05-11 04:04:00 Well, my Hotmail is working fine in Firefox 12.0 with no extensions on a clean installation of Ubuntu 12.04 I installed last night. Agent_24 (57)
1274410 2012-05-11 04:32:00 For what it is worth BM, I tried uninstalling and reinstalling FF12 at the outset of my problems and it didn't solve the issue, not did the MS work arounds that you linked to. smurf (6545)
