Yes.
Do you know what a lifetime warranty actually is? It's not your lifetime - it's the product lifetime. What does that mean? Whatever the manufacturer decides is the economic life of the product.

Interesting, have done some googling on scanpan and the feedback is mixed it seems.

1251492 2012-01-01 03:52:00 I have a scanpan frypan. I also have a baccarat frypan. Both are good, the baccarat is not quite 12 years old. They both have the ceramic titanium non stick thing. You still have t treat them nicely, even though it isn't the usual crap coating stuff.


As for other pots, I have found it doesn't matter what brand it is so long as:

They do not have plastic handles
The handles are not attached with screws

The lids have no plastic and again, do not have handles that attach with screws.
They are stainless steel.

My current set, which was fairly hard to find, but not expensive (a non-brand) are coming up 17 years old. They're still great. One had burnt sugar in it - took 2 days of soaking in soapy water, and then it came out easily - so not scratches or marks still.
