| 1273641 | 2012-05-05 02:01:00 | SpeedFan is reporting my AUX temperature as ~80°C, despite the rest of the temperatures falling in the 20°-40°C range. Is this normal, or is something wrong with my system? It has just been put in a new case if that helps. | pcuser42 (130) | ||
| 1273642 | 2012-05-05 03:57:00 | Speedfan can be pretty mediocre. I wish there was a better product, but if it exists I still haven't found it. It is not unusual for it to have bad reading on some temps, and on the various voltages it reports. If you're lucky one of those screens of text that go flying past during boot will report temps. See if pressing Pause during the boot will give you a chance to find the info.... this would require a reboot once warmed up to be of any sense. |

| 1273649 | 2012-05-07 09:42:00 | My GA-MA78LMT-S2 reports Aux Temperature as being between 61C to 66C. All other temps are between 21C and 27C. I think that Aux could be the northbridge, but when I aim a infrared thermometer at its heatsink it reads 32C. Maybe the temp sensor is being doubled for some reason. Gigabyte's online support was hopeless when I contacted them. |
