| 1251125 | 2011-12-29 21:42:00 | See if you can see any differences in the two pixs::: abcnews.go.com Dec 29, 2011 1:48pm North Korea Restores Order to Kim Funeral With Photoshop The funeral procession for Kim Jong-Il was carried out with military precision and when a handful of dawdlers messed up those regimented lines, they were eliminated. From the photo, that is. A photo released by the North Koreas state news agency and transmitted by the Germany-based European Pressphoto Agency is slightly different from a photo taken at nearly the identical moment and released by Japanese agency Kyodo News. The Japanese picture captured a half-dozen men near a camera on a tripod lingering behind the line of mourners on the left side of the boulevard as the motorcade passed by. In the photo by the North Korean Central News Agency, those men, their camera and their footprints have been digitally removed, restoring absolute order to the crowds lining the boulevard as the cortege passed by. The alterations were discovered by the New York Times with the help of digital forensics expert Hany Farid of Dartmouth College. |

| 1251126 | 2011-12-29 22:09:00 | There's quite a few good examples in today's The Telegraph of other (in)famously altered photos, starting with the funeral of Kim-Jong Il History Photoshopped! (www.telegraph.co.uk) (16 images to the right of the article). |

A few others are also "Nugget your shoes", Nugget is a brand of shoe polish. And "Hoover the floor" or "Lux the floor", Hoover and Lux (Electrolux) are brands of vacuum cleaners. Those 2 just came to mind, I'm sure there are plenty of others. Sorry, the subject line made me think of it. |

| 1251131 | 2011-12-30 13:21:00 | Just looking at the telegraph "Photoshop" jobs This one isn't a photoshop at all! The aircraft is on the Helipad of a ship! All this garbage of it being photoshopped is tripe. The "control tower" is part of the ships structure, it is clearly on a heli pad and for that reason yes, the parking brake WOULD be engaged and the door likely down! Pfft! www.telegraph.co.uk |
