The erroe is as follow, 'Isset_se An error has e=occured in your program. To keep working anyway, click ignore and save your work in a new file. To quit this program, click close. You will lose information you have entered since your last save' Any help would be great John |

| 13574 | 2001-06-03 22:00:00 | John, Without further details its difficult to pin-point your problem, but there are things you can do to isolate it. Can you replicate the problem on a regular basis. If there are things that you do that make the error occur, this is a benefit to you. What you need to do is reboot your pc and stop one program at a time from loading (from the startup folder in the Start menu, and also from msconfig.exe in Win98). Try to replicate the problem again. Do this until you have pinpointed the application causing the issue. Hope this helps. Bill |

They all say it is caused by Norton Antivirus running in auto protect mode while installing various programs. Check out the MS knowledge base articles Q233963, Q192890, Q269796 for your circumstances and avoidance. Good luck PC. |
