| 13494 | 2001-06-02 07:35:00 | To re-enable the auto-start function go to start/settings/control panel/device manager, click on the + by CD-ROM, right click on your CD-ROM, select properties/settings, tick the 'auto insert notification' box and reboot the computer(check the tick is still there after the reboot). If this doesn't work, or the tick was already in the box, remove it then reboot and try again. If the problem is associated with audio CD's only, then you will have to ensure that the correct media player is being called when the CD is inserted. |
