13464 2001-06-01 01:19:00 Is there a windows program out there that caters specifically for shearing contractors?
I would like one that can handle a varying pay roll of up to 100 employees.
I would like to input tallies and hours into a job sheet on a daily basis, and at the completion of the job have all the relevant information posted simultaneously to the payroll AND invoicing modules.
Bearing in mind that we have 40 different categories and rates of pay for the staff and 80 different charge out rates for those same categories!
Also - my OS is soon to be Windows ME - do business apps run ok on ME or should I be looking at running a dual OS (is it possible to have both Windows ME and say, for example,Windows 2000 on the same computer and switch to whichever one you need at bootup time?)
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
Cheers

13466 2001-06-01 08:34:00 I know there is a Win95 era program which suits your requirements, but I don't think it would run under either Win2000 or WinMe. An alternative option is a program called Quickbooks. This is a business application which is designed to work under Win98 and incorporates payroll, timekeeping, invoicing, inventory, etc. Try this link for more info www.quicken.co.nz

It is possible to have a dual boot system, but you could probably not set it up yourself, unless you have a lot of experience with this type of procedure.
