| 13592 | 2001-06-04 00:23:00 | I have two home pcs networked together via a crossover cable, and therefore have file and printer sharing enabled. Both pcs can access the internet via the 'good' pc's modem, and AnalogX's proxy. But everything I read on internet security tells me file & printer sharing should be disabled. Is there a simple way to resolve this? |

Network properties-> Configuration-> Dial-up Adapter properties-> Bindings and again make sure the only one ticked is TCP/IP. A helpfull site you can have a look at is www.grc.com Hope thats some help, Ken. |
