| 13613 | 2001-06-04 10:09:00 | Hi, I've recently done some cleaning up & deleting of temp files & other bits & pieces that I don't use anymore & don't know what I've done, but can no longer see thumbnail images in files that are scanned photos or word documents or saved web pages - I've tried turninf off & on the view as web page option in folders but doesn't help. Can you help me please. THANK YOU |

This can be found under the add/remove programs of the control panel. Locate IE then choose add/remove. This will bring up a repair option. | Guest (0) | ||

Click Start, Run. Then type: regsvr32 /i shdocvw.dll and press Enter. Note there is a space between 32 and /i and between /i and shdoccvw.dll If that doesnt work, Method 2. Click Start, Run. Then type: regsvr32 actxprxy.dll and press Enter. Click Start, Shut Down. Mark the Restart option button, and click OK. Note there is a space between regsrv32 and actxprxy.dll I have no idea whether these fixes will work in your case but they come from a solidly reliable source. Cheers |
