| 13840 | 2001-06-08 23:53:00 | Netscape (4.7) has suddenly, for no reason I can see, started creating it's own (sometimes illogical) folders for incoming email.Previously all incoming mail was left at bottom of inbox and was printed in BOLD until I read it. Now, and only occasionally, incoming mail will land as a subtitle to an existing email in the inbox - not necessarily from the same sender. There seems to be no apparent pattern to this behaviour - sometimes it happens, sometimes not. To my knowledge I haven't changed anything in 'preferences' and employ no filtering. It's annoying in that unread emails may not now be easily spotted. Missed out for four days in reading mail from my cousin as it had attached itself to a previous letter from her. It's only an annoyance but it's one I can well do without. Yes I know I should file the emails more promptly. |
