2001-06-06 11:47:00 I brought the June NZPC World magazine along with the cover CD. The CD won't auto load,-all cover CD's prior to June did and still do. I have held the shift key down to prevent auto load and attempted to open the CD from within Explorer, and have also cleaned the CD. Neither method was successful. Has anyone else had similar problems with the latest CD, and do you have any further suggestions to open it. Guest (0)
2001-06-06 12:02:00 Looks like we all have the same problem (see other thread CD Crashes computer). I don't think anything can be done unless PC World is going to produce a new set of CDs. Guest (0)
2001-06-06 13:52:00 yeah, looks like we all got coasters. i emailed the editor who said they will send out a new disk. Guest (0)
2001-06-07 03:52:00 We always get a handful of duff disks in each run, but June seems to have been a terrible month for our pressing plant, which is dispatching a batch of replacements. Anybody who wants to trade their disk for a fresh one should email paul_tolungamaka.co.nz in our circulation department or dial 0800 IDG HELP.

2001-06-07 09:42:00 Will do, Chris, but (I've had the same problem as everyone else) it looks to me like this is affecting *every* CD which went out with the June issue -- at least until someone else chimes in to say that their's worked fine -- but perhaps such a person would not be visiting this page.

cheers,
