| 13833 | 2001-06-08 05:19:00 | Hi boys and girls I have started having problems with my bitware fax (Bitware 3.3). When I try to fax a document, at the the intialise modem stage Bitware comes back with error modem response and shows 'error 8110'. Any ideas? I have already tried uninstalling and reinstalling both Bitware and my modem drivers (Conexant (Rockwell?) HCF 56kps PCI modem on COM3). The thing is I can stall use all other functions of Bitware and have only just started having the faxing problems . Any and all help appreciated. |

| 13834 | 2001-06-08 13:30:00 | Hi Not sure if this is any help but make sure bitware is running in the background when you try to send the fax. My Bitware is 3.3 and there should be a command line in your autoexec.bat file that loads on startup. If this is removed I know by experience you can not receive a fax and can only assume can not send one. I removed the command from the autoexec.bat and now when I what to send or receive a fax I start Bitware from start\program etc. hth CJ |
