| 13937 | 2001-06-10 10:11:00 | On the advice of a friend, I installed Adaptec's(Roxio's) free UDF Reader, supposed to fix cases where CDs made on CD/DVD writers unreadable in ordinary CD drives. Disc now readable, but did not autostart.Did PC World use a DVD writer ? Hope the replacement disc is not done the same way .... Found later that UDF Reader did not like pre-June CDs so took it out again . Answers anyone ?? |

| 13938 | 2001-06-12 06:07:00 | I cannot get the original or the replacement CD to run. I have tried it on two different computers, each has a normal CD drive and CD-writer drive. No joy on all four drives. An HP CD-writer drive can read some files on the CD if it is inserted holding Shift-key, most files lock up Windows Explorer and a reboot is required. |
