13924 2001-06-10 07:12:00 I have just downloaded the 'top 5 spreadsheet add on' programme.I paced the download into my dowmloads folder. When I went to install the file, I got the bluesceen and the download said that I would file in my Excel programme. We have Micosoft ME system, and our excel programme is under Works spreadshets.
When we go into this programme, I can find no icon or anything for this down, load.
Help please to find this.
Thanks
Brian

13925 2001-06-10 07:50:00 You may have a faulty program & CD - see posting 'Those having problems with their June PC World CD' below. Guest (0)

Which of the 'Top 5 Spreadsheet Add-ins' did you install? - There are 5 different applications, you didn't specify which.

It may be that you need the Office version of Excel, rather than the Works version.

13927 2001-06-12 09:00:00 Hi Mary
Many thanks for your reply.
It was no 1-Spreadshet Assistant.
The programme we purchased with our PC package was Microsoft Works.
I do not know if that makes any difference.
Thanks again
Brian
