Hi. my PC keeps crashing, it happens in any prog. that I have running, also while I am on the net.The only thing that moves is the Mouse indicator, and control/alt/del will not work. So I have to press reset and go through scan disk etc. Question, my OS. is 98se. would going to WinMe solve my problem. I have ran defrag and scan disk till I am as blue in the face as the blue screen. |

This could be due to a variety of problems - RAM, activeX, software conflicts etc. Are there any error messages or blue screen boxes which can shed some light on what is happening? Also are you running crashguard - this has the habit of crashing the PC as well. |

Hi. Paul there are no conflicts according to my Control panel/system check. I have 128 megs of ram active X(8)No warnings or error msg's I have black ice which I disable when on line because I thought it might the culprit. I know that when using netmeeting it would warn me of an intruder when my contact was using my IP# to get in touch.Any Ideas??? |
