| 13851 | 2001-06-09 02:13:00 | Elaine, Sometimes W98 takes that long. Really! I think you are lucky it shuts down at all without crashing first. However your problem could be that Windows is trying to shut down a program that isn't responding any more. In the end it just gives up and closes any way. Check the programs you have loaded (ctrl-alt-del) and close one then shut down (don't close either Explorer or Systray). This may take a little while, but you should be able to pin down the offending app. HTH Bill |
